These new symptoms could have a simple explanation or one not so simple.
As Todd says there are many conditions that cause visual problems, but only a qualified physician knows which tests to run and has the facilities to run them.
My sister got Giant Cell Arteritis (Temporal Arteritis) and almost lost her vision in one eye.
Treatment started earlier might have prevented this; treatment did prevent problems with the other eye.
It is always a good idea to have worrisome symptoms checked out - even if it is just for your own peace of mind.
