As someone for whom the only relief when woken by the beast is the jab, I tried this. Being a UK person, getting the jabs out of my doctor is very hard work so I want to make them last.
The point to bear in mind is that (for me with the amount of pain I am in) the addition of a little prick from a needle is nothing. So, I just gently pushed the needle in about a quarter of an inch, held it with my left hand and pushed the plunger gently with the cotton bud. Worked fine within minutes.
This is from someone who, without a headache, would probably not be able to do it! But I certainly had no problems. Give it a go!
Anyone else with any comments?
