oxygen works very well on me and a lot of Clusterheads I know.
Often oxygen is not applied in a proper way. I use a mask with only small holes in it. I use app. 12 to 15 liters per minute from my oxygene bottle for about 20 mins. Then the pain decreaces and I use about 8 ltrs. til the end of the attack.
I heard about ionizers which have only 7 liters per minute max.capacity. For me this would not be enough.
I found it to be important to use oxygene as early as possible in the attack, so if I feel "it" comming, I run for my oxygene bottle, take a few minutes and if I do not feel an improvement then , I take my sumatriptane spray.
For me, the combination of sumatriptane and oxygene had never failed.
