Nique,
I suffer from Sleep Apneia.
Sleep Apneia is a medical condition were the neck and tongue muscles relax too much during sleep and cuts off the supply of air going into your lungs. So you are not snoreing but gasping for air and interupts your sleep. The second problem with Sleep Apneia is CO2 dose not get properly cleaned out of the body which can cause Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in the long term.
Before I was diagnosed I would black out for few seconds several times during the day. I blacked out during driving (no accidents).
I finally got tested for it, and now I use a machine called a "C-PAP". I wear it during the night or when I am just resting. The machine pumps air into your lungs and is quiet.
Hope it helps
