Hi Bob, personally, I do not believe anything safe and medicinal will ruin anyone's sobriety if taken as directed and with moderation (I have not found psylocibin (sp) in the PDR). Although, this is very much contrary to AA/NA guidelines (any drug including anti-depressants are a violation of some groups sobriety). Some people just lose control and develop problems...been there before.
Without rationalizing, we are a special group...I would do just about anything to get rid of these CHs. If shrooms work, I would buy a cow and move to Florida.
