i used magnetic boots on a horse that got colic in a lorry and in the process badly knocked her foreleg. It only made her lame in the trot (but she was sound in the field at the walk.) She also had a large solid lump on the outside about an inch below her knee. After a month in the field with not much improvement i put the boots on and within a week the lump started to go down and the lameness improved. The vet had seen her the day it happened but just suggested rest. They had originally been bought for a horse with navicular - for which they were no good. She is now slowly coming back to work after what we thought was a chipped bone!
