I remember this communication. It had slipped my
feeble mind probably because I read it while in the "finish up the CH questionnaire" period before CHAW last August.
It probably would be a good idea for many of us to contact Dr. Russo and encourage him to proceed with his study as soon as possible. At least let him know how eager we are for some help.
I wonder if there is some way we could help him get whatever it is he needs to do the study. We could be guinea pigs, maybe, or lobby in Washington for funds, or put on ad on Linda H's
pretty car for all to see as she travels. She would not get arrested for advocating a scientific study - I hope. Smile.
Really though - just think, perhaps relief for many is just a study away. What exactly is an orphan disease - I mean a legal definition. We surely qualify for that status. Who would know how to get this status for CH sufferers?
Too, I am certanly willing to "ride the coattails" of migraine research if it will benefit everyone.
