As previously posted, I have a vision as to how to address the CH problem. To recap...
(1) Back in January I established a website to host a project I have been calling "The CH Study Group". The URL is "http://www.i-ch.org". This website provides a framework for a study team to stay focused on the search for root causes to the CH condition.
(2) A couple of months ago I woke up and realized that there needs to be an umbrella organization to administer the fundraising activities and other charitable functions, including the possibility of sponsoring multiple study groups. Today I have drafted articles of incorporation for a non-profit private tax-exempt operating foundation, which I have been calling "The CH Foundation". The papers are ready to file with the secretary of state and with a little work with the IRS. I have in mind a board of directors numbering something like 30 people, of which I have identified ~10 and gotten committments from ~5.
(3) The CH Foundation, along with the study groups, are not meant to compete with CHMB, but rather compliment it. Through this vehicle the CH community can establish strategic relationship s with others involved in bona-fide research, including MAPS.org, and the other more traditional medical community types.
At this time, I need about 40 hours to finalize the paperwork and about $3,000 to cover corporate and IRS application fees. Quite frankly I feel this is a worthwhile endeavor, perhaps the most significant course of action we as a group could take. Yet, at the same time I share the dismay with Pinky and Flash about others' reaction to the psi-tx. But, my resolve to move forward is firm as I see no reason to discontinue the work performed so far and even more reason to capture the work for future generations of CH suffers.
This is a clear path, at least from a strategic-vision standpoint. Perhaps we do have an answer and will reverse engineer the logic to prove it. Personally, that is fine with me.
