We all know that most doctors receive little training about CH in medical school. Considering the vast number of ailments they must study it is not surprising that CH sort of slips by.
And look at all the people with Lyme's and lupus who are misdiagnosed despite all that has been written about these ailments recently.
Is is up to us clusterheads to "break in" those doctors who don't know CH. If they are good men/women they will listen, do research, consult with other doctors about your case, and will prescribe what they feel is safe and effective for you.
Even the best neuros sometimes have to experiment to find the best combination of medications for all of us individuals with our sometimes unique symptoms.
OUCH was founded for the purpose of educating others aobut CH. Please join the organization and spend a little time on a committee helping to spread the word about CH to those who have not heard of it.
