Melatonin

Hi,
i have a strange expirience with melatonin,
i am suffering for over 20 years and i know the Time when the beast starts. But this year it is present and i have no attack.
I take for some month Melatonin now, 6 mg before i go to bed. Could it be the reason that my attacks dont start. Has anyone long time expiriens with melatonin?
Sorry for my english, but i am not used to write.
