What we need is a research plan and a fund-raising plan to support it. There is a lot of money looking for a worthy cause. It is really a matter of packaging the project and marketing it, just not in the for-profit sense. Jerry Lewis and the MS project is a keen example. United Way supports these types of projects, but you have to do the administrative work first. Seed money is what we need for that effort. An angle investor in the VC market.
