The night ones just keep you from getting the strength to fight off the DAY ones. On the left side of my head is a little green monster with a big stick poking downward at my eyeball. My ear has a cramp, my teeth feel like there's an exposed nerve and it all meets in the eyeball and yes, it feels like it's going to explode. But day or night, they still hurt like hell. Get something to help with the pain if you haven't already. You can only take so much of it, then you've got to have some relief (for a while at least). Oh yeah, mine didn't start until I was 50. Not real USUAL, but it do happen! Sorry to have you with us, but hang in there, we're with you. BD
