I use it a little differently then most do. I put a demand regulator on my tank so it works like a scuba tank. I put the mask over my face and draw in pure 02. I hold each breath 15 to 30 seconds, then completely exhale and inhale pure 02 again. Within 3-5 minutes it stops the pain from increasing. I also take cafergot when the pain starts. The oxygen seems to keep the headache away until the cafergot kicks in. Ususally 15 minutes or so. The oxygen alone doesn't work for me it only delays the pain until the cafergot takes over. Hope this helps. Amazing the combinations that end up working. I know it's hard to stay patient thru the pain but when you finally find what works it's worht it. Praying for you guy!!!
