I was reading some earlier messages. It seems that most sufferers get enough warnig to get to a safeplace. When I get an attack My left eye gets pressure and I want to close it. By the time I know for sure that I'm getting one it's to late. I'll be in the store and on the ground in almost no time. One time in traffic court I got an attack and they called in the paramedics. I told them just to call my wife. At that time We were using trigger point injections with some good sucess. My Dr. let my wife give me the injections. 1 in the back of my head and 1 ner my temple. When I,m in this much pain I hardly even care about getting the injections. Before I started using methadone and Actiq nad very little control I would only go out as soon as I was over an attack knowing I may have an hour to get back. I own my own business.I certainly am not very employable and have been considering disability from SS. At least now with my methadone therapy I can work 3 weeks out of the month.ie I live 2 blocks from work and when I get an attack with a migraine already present my Actiq suckers will not give me enough relief and My employees run me home. Sometime I can come back sometimes I can't. I have no idea how so many of you can still work with chronic headaches with so little relief.Hat's off to you. I have had 3 Neurologists list me as completly disables as far as working. As they have seen me get several attacks. Best to you. Mike L
