I would not attempt to transport O2 tanks in the
plane unless you can get the doc to call the airline
to make the arrangements for you while you are in the
plane. Ask the airline - what is required from
me or my doc to carry x-size O2 tank along with me?
If all that fails:
Get a 1 gal jug, fill it with water, add 4 tbsp
of table salt. Get 8 D batteries. Hook them up
in series. Tape a copper wire to the + end
tape another copper wire to the - end. Inmerse
the tips of the wires in the water approx. 1/2" to
1" away from each other. Put a large collecting jar
with a tube under each wire tip to collect the bubbles
that come out. One of the two...I think from the - pole...sets of
bubbles should be O2. Careful! The other one is H.
Both very flamable.
