The max effective dose of LSD may be as low as 300mcgs, or treble the recreational dose. Anything more than that has zero effect. I guess that means it hits every receptor.
LSD effects every animal, even insects.
A man can tolerate more LSD than an elephant. It is virtually non-toxic to humans, only as dangerous as vitamin A, less so than caffiene or nicotene.
Another reason it is hard to detect is the size of the dose. it is measured in mcgs, and is therefore 1000 time smaller than almost all other drugs. Only a GC/MS test can detec it and each GC/MS test costs $400-800. They have to sepcifically check for it too, because it is sooo small.
All metabolates exit the body within ~4 days.
For some reason LSD and Psilo have little or no effect when taken within 5 days of the last dose. It is counter-addictive.
