Q's post tallies with what I remember, though it's not from the same source. It is expressed in percentages, rather than in thousandths, and the figure of 3.7 million molecules assumes a standard dose of 200 micrograms, which was considered a decent recreational dose in the seventies. Doses that high were rarely, if ever, used in clinical research with humans at that time.
Miguel, you are obviously familiar with neurobiology... do you mind if I ask what it is you do for a living?
