Many of you probably don't recognize this name but I used to be a very regular contributer to CH.com. I have lost touch for a long time but as my current episode is now in full force, I just wanted to say how comforting it is to be able to come back to a place where I feel I understand what is being experienced. I was one of the very first to try the drug topomax which was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, as I stopped taking it when my cycle went into remission, the second time around it stopped working. So it seems to go with this disease. I have decided to go this cycle med free as I believe drugs like Imitrex and the like may cause rebound headaches with me. Instead, I have become a poster child of health. I work out several days a week and have cut down on my sugar overload almost completely. No more booze, and I'm trying to sleep consistently every night. For now, it hasn't been the worst cycle I've ever had. Thanks to DJ and everyone who has stayed a part of this wonderful websight through it all and offered so much to so many.
