hi Cheryl - I have suffered with these damn things for 9 yrs. now - the one and only saving grace at times is being able to talk with people who truly know how these beast's feel!!! I would encourage your husband to at least visit the site - once he does, im sure he will be hooked just like me!!
I love my wife more than i can say, and although she tries to be supportive and helpful, she really doesnt understand the true nature of the pain and therefore all she gets to experience is the awful site of me in the middle of a CH!! Not very nice for her!! This site, with the other people who understand these demons, has been a godsend for me!! Please,Please, Please tell your husband to at least visit and check it out - it will do him a world of good - GUARANTEED!!!!!
Also, tell that "stubborn son of a b$%*h" to stop the drinking right now!! I enjoy my beer more than anyone (ask my wife) and it truly sucks not being able to indulge the way i'd like to but i am here to tell you that it IS A TRIGGER for me and a lot of others!! I refuse to drink even one because of that - but i can guarantee you that when this cycle ends (and i will make sure that it is indeed over before doing this) I am going to buy a damn keg and sit on my porch and drink myself silly to celebrate - just wont touch it now because of the consequences!! Please tell him again to give it a break for now!!
Until then - hang in there - you sound like a great supporter, much like my wife!!!
