The study cited was of 25 chr's, 22 men, 3 women. When SA was defined as 5 or more breathing disruptions within an hour, 20 people or 80% were categorized as having SA.
When the 'standard' was set at a more conservative 10 incidents per hour, the number dropped to 11, or 44%.
Given the small sample size, the single study and the lack of a universally accepted standard for the diagnosis of SA, this can only be categorized as 'interesting' at this point....certainly far from conclusive.
