My take on this is that alcohol consumption triggers CH-attacks not due to the physical reaction, but rather due to the effects that alcohol has on the mind.
Alcohol, especially the first drink or so, provides a certain release on the mental processes and is a well known social lubricant. The boundries between conscious and subsconscious mental states blurs and a feeling of mild-euphoria is the classic reaction in the normal person.
In the case of the CH-active mind, alcohol effects would also trigger a mental state, perhaps not unlike REM stage sleep, in which the subconscious (child) mind panics and triggers the CH-attack as a diverison to keep the conscious (adult) mind from the child's secrets.
This is also why you can "drink-thru" a CH-attack. Once the adult mind is drunk enough, the child mind can relax, knowing that its secrets are safe from the drunken mind.
All of this is theory, based soley on casual observations. Other theories may also, simultaenously be true. Check with the manufacturer for details.
