He spoke to me once of a patient of his coming to him for treatment and shortly after finding out she was pregnant. He never told me what he did to help her (that would break the patient confidentiality thing), but he did say he saw her through the entire pregnancy. He may be able to offer you some advice.
I don't have pain meds except OTC stuff, which is about as much use as a chocolate teapot! So I can really sympathise with your predicament. Also went through my pregnancy without meds. Luckily for me I only started my cycle in the last 1.5 months of my confinement (my daughter was born 4th November). My cycles started (back then) late September/early October ending about late March/early April with just the odd attack through the summer. Although this last cycle started early September and is only just winding down.
