The orange peel skin is part of a description of CH that is fast becoming obsolete. It seems to be totally irrelevant what sort of skin one has.
The 0,4 % figure must be based on the cases actually recognized and registered as CH. And you know yourself how little our complaint is known to the medical profession.
Think of all the people that have never been registered as CH, because they have been misdiagnosed for years.
Think of all the woman who have been misdiagnosed because the books say it is a "male" complaint.
So it is unlikely marines dominate the CH scene - scratch the military mind as a prerequisite for cluster headaches.
What is really worrying is that medical people who DO know about CH still work with these mummified descriptions and will happily go on misdiagnosing clusterheaders for ever.
