QUESTION: Has anyone else ever had it suggested that possible dental problems may have a link to Cluster Headaches? It's a thought... As a sufferer for 25 years and with very poor teeth, I have just concluded that my main cluster was starting a few weeks after traumatic dental work. Doctor was surprised... regular UK dentist shrugged... I have found a specialist dental surgeon (private!) who has worked with cluster patients before. His reccommendation? To remove some nerves, create a better bite to avoid the nightly teeth grinding sessions by three extractions, three crowns plus refitting various old fillings. He is an excellent surgeon, not cheap but what price can a Cluster sufferer put on relief? Next cluster due around October 2000 so results (if any) cannot be reported yet. I would however like to know if any other sufferer has ever had a dental -v- cluster link?
