Today I went for blood work prior to cataract surgery next week.
I told the nurse I took Verapamil for CH and asked if she knew what CH was. Well, she knew the name of the neurologist who first treated it in this area, but it was obvious she had only heard that there were "different headaches besides migraine." I didn't take the time to enlighten her as others were waiting.
I wish I had had a brochure with me.
In the future we need to have a couple with us to share as opportunities arise. I will carry some next week and pass them out if possible.
