I appreciate all of the good wishes and kind words. My wife tries to understand, but can't. As she said, there is nothing she can do for me, so why should she wake up during an attack. I guess that makes sense.. So I spend the late hours pacing and holding my right eye downstairs, or smoking out on the deck as a distraction until the 30 mins go by and the pills (what ever is in vogue that night - percocet, butalbital or all three...)...
reading this board makes me feel better. I suppose unless you have gone through it, you have no idea what it is like and it must be frustrating for someone to watch someone go through this.. Sometimes I wish I could make her understand that support and someone being there would help. But it is late, she is tired from taking care of the baby and I understand that...
