me into a bad CH, it's that long term exposure that goes on for days or weeks, the membranes in my nose get sorer and sorer, and I get more sensitive to triggers, I have painted a couple of cars and a boat using all kinds of chemicals without problems with normal precautions, in Wisconsin, we also seem to have strong winds in the day time, but it's that calm at night when all the heavier than pollutants settle to the ground and over a large area such as spreading several thousand arces of liquid manure, but the way the DNR got very strict on this practice as not only cow manure, but vast amounts of peoples holding tanks were spread all over fields, methane gas, hydrogen sulfide gas, ammonia, chorline gas, and just the pure lack of oxygen in the air were finally measured, OHSA rules on many toxic chemicals, but the limits are so many parts per million based on an eight hour day exposure, they assume that the person would not be exposed to similar chemicals off hours, I was razed by my co-workers for being somewhat concerned by air quality standards as my sensitivities resulted in CH's, the only thing I can say in retort is that many of these people that claimed no ill effects and I was being a big baby kind of thing suddenly would not show up at work the next day, died of either a heart attack or a stroke, seems like in the five years, 35, 35, 55, etc., whether this has any corelation is beyond me, but my CH's made me avoid certain things and I am still kicking. Seems like it takes just as long to get unsore as it does to get sore in reference to the nose and when unsore, I can put up with anything without a CH, but when real sore, just one whif of perfume is all it takes.
