Good point. The only thing I can go on in that respect is based on the research I have done on MS. (having that myself) The area's of demylinization are so miniscule that they too can only be detected by advanced (not the old ones) MRI imageing. These itsy bitsy lesions which I have that compared to many are really itsy bitsy, are capable of doing such damage as shutting down my bladder and bowel control, creating optic nuritis, inability to walk, talk (ephashia), uncontrolled spasams, atrophy of various muscles at various times etc.
So....my thinking be this...if these little areas of loss can cause this kind of problem, small areas of extra cells would certainly be capable of blocking the sites.
Just one womans opinion, but rather sound I think?
