Is anyone taking prednisone for kidney disease? I started taking it last week. My Internest has prescribed 80mg which are taken every other day.
At various times throughout the day, my arms, hands and legs tingle. I feel hot a good part of the day. In the evening I have a slight feeling on nausea but nothing too serious.
I am also taking blood pressure medication and have experienced the tingling sensations before. Not as pronounced though. I suspect
that it is the prednisone that is amplifying these feelings. At times I also feel a bit light headed. If I kneel down and get up fast, I especially feel light-headed almost to the point
that I feeling like passing out, but it passes quickly. My Doctor will be monitoring me and I suspect will adjust the dosage as required. I'm not sure if I should be asking for something else, if there even
is something else. At least I only have the sensations every other day. I would be interested in hearing from others on prednisone for kidney disease.
