Sorry you have had to find us but glad you did. Read everything you can get your hands on on this site, print out stuff and take it to your doc. Become your boyfriend's buffer zone/bulldog. The medical info here is great and we even have a doc who is a cluster sufferer too, Doc Greg! If you have a good neuro make good friends with him/her right away.
My husband has been a sufferer for more than 20 years and he has not found much relief from meds. He has battled his cycles with the water treatment, oxygen, ice and dramamine/gravol to help him sleep. He goes into cycle it seems every 12 months now, longest remission ever being 18 months but it used to be 6 months. It does drastically change both your lives when your loved one is in cycle, no two ways around that, but live every remission day to its fullest. Keeps you sane.
