2 wives and a few girlfriends in R/L and have yet to find one that doesn't think I'm doing the stereotypical 'man whining about a little discomfort' thing.
About 8 months ago, my sainted 76 y/o Mom finally saw her first cluster. She messed up at first with all the "what can I get for you" questions, but hey, it was her first time. She quickly figured out that leaving me to my ice and pacing was the best course of action. She'd be a GREAT supporter, but I'm a bit old to move back home.
So, I guess that leaves me with a long-haired, tattoed guy who wants my next woman as one of my best supporters.
