I swear this is a true story-the very first time
I had a CH I thought I had neuralgia. I was lying
down on the couch with an ice bag when one of my
son's friends came in. He asked me what was wrong and I told him my whole face hurt and I thought I had an earache. He said his grandmother used to boil an onion and take the little core out after it had cooled a little and put it in her ear. I was in so much pain that I acutually did it and felt like a fool laying there with an onion in my ear!!! Actually it was the heat from the onion that must have helped her earache cause it didn't
do anything for MY pain. I still wonder to this day if he was laughing at me for doing it and that
was 20 years ago.
