that sleeping on the floor (or anywhere else) is safe. I once fell asleep on the couch upstairs in the loft, halfway woke up and got up to go back to bed after the beast had finally done so too, and lined up with the steps instead of the hallway to the bedroom. In slo mo, I sailed down the stairwell head first, putting my hands out to try to save my neck and sprained the doggie doo out of both thumbs. Couldn't drive, couldn't dress, couldn't do most everything for three days. Oh sure COULD get CHs. That @#$% doesn't need thumbs. Boy, try to explain that one to the boss!
