Yes, I had spinal surgery many years ago in my twenties, and I was given a spinal anethesia(sp) during the birth of my oldest son, born almost 25 years ago. However, my CHs didn't start until 10 years later.
The common knowledge about any spinals given was that you had to lie very still and flat in your bed for about eight to ten hours after, or you might get *bad* H/As. Who knows if there's any connection...
