Let's go back to the origin of this thread within a thread.
I did NOT say there was a causative component to clusters that is rooted in psychology. I believe that we have a disorder, physical in nature.
My comments were addressed to Jack's original suppositions about the differences between chronics and episodics, and apparently, we agree on this issue.
I DO believe that it is POSSIBLE that our individual personalites (i.e., psychological makeup) MAY influence aspects such as frequency, duration and severity. IF this is correct (and I only propose it as a possibility, I don't defend it as a reality as I'm not qualified to do so), then is it such a stretch to POSIT that SOME personalities MAY focus so frequently on clusters that this very focusing MIGHT impact the frequency, duration and severity?
Again, I'm NOT discussing the ROOT CAUSE of clusters, merely the variations we all experience, the reality of which has clearly been demonstrated by the personal recitations which have appeared here at ch.com.
