I agree, Carl - we all become so self-absorbed in our day-to-day lives that we lose focus of what's going on around us.
I don't know the whole story of what Angela and Scott went through and probably never will. The threats that he posted to her here made me sick to think one human being could inflict any form of torture on another who is already dealing with more than they can already handle.
There is no justice in this situation, none at all. You're right, Angel(a) is at peace now finally but what a price to pay....her friends here are in shock, mourning her loss and feeling guilty that they didn't or couldn't do more. But what we all have to realize, especially you, Ted, is that her friends here DID make her life a little better, just by offering friendship and understanding. I'll probably get criticized for saying this on the board, but God obviously had other plans for Angel(a) and saw it was time to call her home and end her pain. No worry that she isn't in Heaven now because she certainly has done her time in Hell.
We are all richer for knowing Angel(a), she was a gentle soul and we have to accept and understand what has happened as we know she would want us to. Ted, I'm sure she knows now that you didn't hate her. I'm sure she knew that anyways. She was lucky woman to have found such as friend as you in her life.
Today, as we sit at our keyboards, totally dumbfounded at the news of her death, I suggest we all take a moment to wish her peace.
