I just tried some liquid Anbesol, coating teeth, gums, cheek and tongue. I soaked a Q-tip with it and coated the inside of the nostril. Then I pinched off the other nostril and inhaled deeply...works pretty well. It's just another nutsy attempt at beast-whacking, a cobbled-up munition stockpiled in the arsenal that we all desperately contribute to. Ain't it amazing and ironic, that pain which has been likened to that resulting from accidental amputation has not been specifically addressed by drug manufacturers, and that our necessity makes us the mothers of invention? What's even more darkly ironic is that, sorry folks, there just aren't enough of you (@69 per 100,000) to justify more zealous research for a cure.
