Willing to try anything, I am giving the water treatment a shot and so far, so good. I just started this cluster last week with shadows in the evening when I usually get a headache, about two hours after dinner when I just start relaxing for the evening. Three days in a row I got the shadows and they were getting progressively worse. The last one was a borderline freezer trip.
Typically I would then get one in the early AM but I attribute not getting them to the Melatonin I’ve been taking for over two years. Even when I’m in a full blown cluster the 2 AM treats are not showing up.
Two days ago I started drinking lots of water. Lots of water!!!! About 3 to 4 gallons a day. I’ve had to pee a lot but the shadows are gone. Maybe whatever toxins that are triggering the headaches are being flushed out of my body. Maybe this is just a coincidence but wouldn’t it be great if our cure was right under our noses.
Many thanks to DJ’s generosity. You are truly a lifesaver and may God repay you for your kindness. As you all know, we are alone in this battle and if it wasn’t for this gathering place I’m not sure how long I would be able to keep my sanity.
