i suffer from cronic cluster headaches i am on imitrex injections, verapamil,valium,and 02 i also suffer from cronic ashama as well well this message is to vent my anger about these headaches. you see i just got out of the hospital about a week ago for the ashama i spent 5 days in there. durning this time i had a headache alll the time they were giving me dimeral for them which it did dull the headache some it wouldnt even get rid of it just like clock work every 3 hours i was asking for more (it was sceduled for every 2 hours) but the headaches were back in full force in three hours when i got out of the hospital on a friday i took the weekend off and then on monday i had a headache so bad i couldnt drive my doctor called in a for a drug that my insurance had to approve well this took 48hours to do so i call in to work and tryed to explain this to the owner of the shop i work at and he told me to get som disability or ssi that he knew i had health problems but that he no longer could use me there because i missed to much work well i think this was very unfair so now because of these headaches i have lost my job !!!!!!!!!!!! i am retired from the state of calif so i do have a income but it is not enough to
support me i pay outrages child support and even with my insurance the imitrex cost me way to much at 10.00 for two injections a day which i can no longer pay for with out a job my doctor told me that all though i have these headaches more offten then most (every damn day) that i am not disabled well i wold like to see any one else work and even try to think with one of these headaches i know that most people have to work with them and how they do it is beond me i cant even think my head hurts so bad i am sitting here on the 02 now for twenty min and my head feels like it is going to EXPLODE ALLL THE DRUGS THEY HAVE ME ON WILL NOT GET RID OF THESE HEADACHES i have made the statement to my doctors and to other people that i wish i could blow my head off i tell them that i dont realy mean it but it is times like this headache i really do mean it there has got to be a way to control these things i can not keep living in this kind of pain any more if there is a new tretment out there or any one that can help my e-mail is estep@telepath.com people who do not suffer from these DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THEY FEEL. ALL THOUGH I DO NOT WISH THIS KIND OF PAIN ON ANY ONE. Ifeel that i was done wrong by getting fired over these headaches which has made the pain worse by stress and now i cant even pay for the imitrex which will only work if i catch the headache before it becomes full blown which is hard to do when you wake up with them as i so often do and for some reason my headaches will not last just 15 min but all day long some times for days on end well thank you for letting me vent my anger a little bit sorry for the spelling and the way i wrote this but i have a headache.
