Anaprox is the perscription version of Aleve (over the counter). It has been shown to be helpfull with migraines, and some clusters.
I know your frustration...and it is horrible. I too use Verapamil...and whenever I start to think that the cluster is over...and wean back on the verapamil...whaaammmooo. Makes you want to scream.
There are a variety of restrictions written about Imitrex...but the fact of the matter is we really don't know what too much is (within limits, that is). Many people say don't use it more than twice per week...but those people don't suffer from clusters. I think twice a day is a good rule...but if you get 3 a day (and I have), I can't say that rule would stop me.
