If lying down makes things worse, consider whether
you have a sinus component to the CH. I have simply
learned to sleep sitting up. Raising the head of
the bed 15 degrees also helps. I don't think that
the CH itself is related to the sleep position,
but it could be (see the postings about O2 and
machines to prevent sleep apnea).
