Found your post interesting, knowing full well I should keep my mouth shut, want to say a couple of things....(Truly don't wish to offend anyone, please realize these are my thoughts and opinions..you are not bound by them)
I don't pretend to be a scholor of the Bible, but I certainly have been a student for many years, and have had the blessing of some great teaching.
Which brings me to this point...God doesn't Give us bad things because he doesn't have any bad things to give us...as someone else pointed out he may allow them to be in our lives.
Satan doesn't give us good things, because he doesn't have anything good to give us. He is the author of deception, the thief that comes to steal, kill and destroy.
There are a lot of questions I'm going to ask The Lord one day, when I meet him face to face, but until then I refuse to believe He would ever be the source of any kind of pain in my life.
CH is a complicated matter, I'm coming more and more to the opinion is is a genetic matter and who but the professionals can understand that?
In conclusion(everyone said, finally..) just keep on keepin' on and be thankful for such progress as the medical community has made, and pray for more to come..hopefully soon.
One more comment on the God/Satan discussion...
