If you have had an satisfactory relationship with your doc then this experience will give you the justification you need to change.
BUT--you won't find the perfect doc and most especially in the era of managed care where the pressure of time is so great. I'd like to encourage you to become more assertive in asking questions: what is the treatment?, are there options?, what should I expect?, are there side effects?, when should I call you if a reaction?, any interactions with other drugs I'm taking?
