I, too, am a supporter of a sufferer (actually he responded to your post below).
It is awful to watch them go through this pain and you do wish you could do something to help.
Yes, it has been very common for us to get a prescription for antibiotics to kill the "sinus infection" that he doesn't have.
We have not found any meds that have helped Mike - he's tried so many. There are many people here who are finding relief from many different meds...do some research and read the buttons on the left of this page.
We've found success using the water treatment and Mike is today 13 months in remission!
He also uses ice and oxygen to relieve the pain, along with the Dramamine to prevent the middle of the night attacks.
