Speaking of histamine blockers, I did some research on quercetin, a natural substance from fruits(flavonoid), which is reported to be an inhibitor of IgE-mediated histamine. If you can find pure quercetin without additives in 500 mg capsules and take 1/4 tsp of the powder twice daily after meals sublingually (to get enough of it in to your system), it may work as replacement for pharmaceutical histamine blockers without the unwanted side effects. Quercetin is also reported to possess a strong and prolonged anti-inflammatory effect.
Just thought I'd pass it along
