and if my abortives don't work, I curl into the fetal position in the dark, wrap my left arm around my head so I can put pressure of the juncture of blood vessels just in front of my right ear and chase and massage other painful areas in the right side of my head and neck. Heat or cold doesn't do much for me. If it gets too severe and breaks through my control, and panic begins to set in, I will pace and do the dance, trying my best to believe that it will end soon. I know that if I knew that the worst would not stop--I would reach for #38. I think that the doc was likely not diagnosing the panic that comes with CH. Likely, if you have panic attacks at other times, connectied with depression, that's a different type of clusterfuck. Perhaps elavil or endep or another antidepressive would help. All they did for me is add thirty pounds around my waist--which is another reason I don't pick on bikers.
