I have been walking around with a headache, sometimes tolerable sometimes unbearable since September 15th. I have been in the emergency room twice, both times at the same time of the night when awakened by excruciating pain behind my right eye. I have had a cat scan, an mri, and am now trying the third "migraine" medicine my doctor has prescribed. I have been so frustrated that nothing has worked, and that I don't seem to answer "yes" to his migraine questions, light sensitivity, etc. Yet he continues to treat me as a migraine sufferer. The latest medicine is Zomig. This has finally worked yet he warns, more like scares the hell out me regarding daily dosage. I found this site saturday morning and almost cried as I called my wife to come take a look. In one month, I have gone from fun loving dad and husband, to irritable, hypochondriac. Finally, I have answered yes to all the right questions and symptoms. Thank you, thank you, thank you. After five weeks of continuous pain, with brief periods of relief, I no longer feel like I must be going crazy. Now, to try and convice my doctor to treat me as a cluster sufferer. Any suggestions?
