CHAs time limit

can any one tell me if CHAs ever go away for good? my DR tells me that guys mostly get them in thier mid twentys and they lose them in thier mid fourtys. mine started at fourteen and im thirty seven now. they are still going strong, he says im due because i started early. info on this would help.....thanks.....jonny
