Dr. B.G.Bux, noted CCNY Uro-Neurologist, has researched the practice of substituting toy balloons for condoms and made a surprising discovery.
"Studies show that approximately .6% of adult males engage is this practice. Interestingly, this same small group of individuals is both above average in sexual activity and has a marked tendency to engage in intercourse on a very regualar schedule. We believe this finally explains the cause of the rare medical disorder known as Cluster Headaches. It has long be noted that most clusters occur shortly after the sufferer goes to bed."
Dr. Bux explained that the majority of cluster sufferers have cycles in which they have one or more attacks per day for a period of 5 to 8 weeks.
"It is our theory that after this brutal period of intense pain, the sufferer ceases to engage in sexual activity, often for as long as a year or more. Eventually, of course, the natural sex drive resumes and the cycle starts over again."
Asked about treatment, Dr. Bux reiterated his advisory to utilize only professionally manufactured condoms in the correct size, but suggested castration may be an even more effective treatment.
