Cluster HA and Head bangers?

O.k........ Before I start I don't want to offend anyone!!!!!!!!!
I am simply going to ask a question as we all go through this thing in our own way so please don't shout at me.

I have heard of the Head Banging. I get clusters and when the demon has me in a 10. I will be doing any thing I can to releive the pain (ANYTHING).
I have never banged my head against anything. My head is already suffering enough trauma without adding to it. PLEASE DON"T SHOUT AT ME! does it help if you bang your head against something?
I don't understand this? But would like to. If anyone woul talk to me about this without telling me I suffer less than them , would love to hear about it.
